🔵 Important Information About NHS Dental Care 🔵
Please read the following rules carefully so that your NHS dental experience goes as smoothly as possible:
1️⃣ NHS Charges: The fees for NHS dental care are set by the NHS itself, not by the practice. Unless you are exempt, an NHS fee will apply to your appointments.
2️⃣ Exemptions: If you believe you qualify for free or reduced-cost care, it's your responsibility to ensure your exemption is valid. Incorrect or outdated information may result in fines, for which Braintree Dental Studio cannot be held responsible.
3️⃣ Phased Treatment: The NHS offers treatment in phases. This may mean you require multiple courses of treatment, each with an associated NHS charge, to complete your oral care.
4️⃣ Treatment Timeline: According to NHS guidelines, treatment will be discontinued if more than 2 months have elapsed between appointments. Please ensure you follow through with your treatments on time.
5️⃣ No Patient Registration: In NHS dentistry, there is no patient registration. Patients are responsible for keeping up with their own dental recalls. The practice cannot be held liable for missed appointments or recall reminders.
6️⃣ Failure to Attend: Missed appointments can lead to delays in care and may result in being asked to seek treatment elsewhere.
