Today’s question: "What is one thing people think they are doing right for their teeth, but is actually causing damage?" 🤔

The answer might surprise you: Brushing your teeth immediately after having a fizzy or acidic drink!

Drinks like fresh orange juice or fizzy pop soften your tooth enamel. If you brush right away, you are actually brushing away that softened layer of enamel!

What to do instead:

🧀 Eat a piece of cheese or drink milk to neutralize the acid.
💧 Swish with a fluoride mouthwash.
⏳ Wait at least 30 minutes before brushing!
