You’re never too old to smile with confidence! ✨

We recently had the pleasure of restoring the smile of this lovely patient, proving that age is no barrier when it comes to investing in your smile. 🦷💚

With dental implant treatment, we were able to replace her missing front tooth and give her back a smile she can feel confident with - and we couldn’t be happier with the result!

A new tooth, a renewed smile, and a wonderful reminder that you’re never too old for dental treatment. 💚

📩 Thinking about dental implants? Get in touch with our team at Seaham Smiles to find out what options could be suitable for you.

World Mental Health Day 🤍

Today is a reminder that looking after our health means looking after all of us - including our mental wellbeing.

We know that visiting the dentist can sometimes feel daunting, especially if you’re feeling anxious or overwhelmed. That’s why we’re here to listen, take things at your pace and make your visit as comfortable as possible.

A little kindness, a friendly face and simply asking “How are you?” can make a bigger difference than we realise.

So today, check in with yourself, check in with someone you care about, and remember that it’s okay not to be okay. 💚

Meet Fern 👋🦷

We’re delighted to welcome Fern to the team! She qualified from the University of Manchester in 2020 and has since completed further training in root canal treatments, developing a particular interest in Endodontics.

Fern is passionate about providing gentle, reassuring care and helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment.

Outside of dentistry, Fern loves exploring the UK in her camper van, usually accompanied by her four-legged adventure buddy, Winston 🐶

We’re so pleased to have Fern as part of our team and can’t wait for you all to get to know her! 🤍

We also have some exciting news coming soon about Fern’s patient list, so keep your eyes peeled! 👀

Is it time for a dental routine reset? 🔄🦷

Two quick checks you need to make tonight:

🔹 Your flossing technique: Are you using the "C-shape" method? Hug the tooth and gently sweep up and down to get the best clean and protect your composite bonding.

🔹 Your toothbrush bristles: Are they splayed and worn? If it’s been more than 3 months, it’s time for a replacement! (P.S. check your kids' brushes while you're at it!)

Small habit changes equal a massive difference in your oral health. 💙

Ready to book your next check-up or hygiene visit to get your smile back on track? We’ve got you covered!
