Meet the Team – Lesley ✨🦷

Lesley is our Head Dental Nurse and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Newby Dental Practice team.

With qualifications in Dental Radiography and Oral Care Education, Lesley has gained extensive experience working within secondary care as part of the Community Dental Services team.

Lesley’s favourite part of her role is providing chairside support to our dentists and hygienists while ensuring a calm and relaxing experience for all our patients.

Outside of work, Lesley loves running, gardening, and spending time with her family, friends 🏃‍♀️🌱

As dentists, we're legally able to use higher-strength whitening gels (like hydrogen peroxide), which deliver brighter, longer-lasting results compared to shop-bought kits. We’ll also check your teeth and gums first to make sure whitening is suitable for you.

Over-the-counter products in the UK are limited to very low levels of whitening agents - and some can even be abrasive and damage your enamel if used incorrectly.

She’s friendly, easy to chat to, and has a great mix of experience in both clinical dentistry and dental hygiene.

She’s also got a Master’s in Advanced General Dentistry from Ulster University, so you’re in very capable hands — but it’s her calm, reassuring way with patients that really stands out.

Jobsy’s known for helping people feel comfortable and looked after from the moment they walk in.
