🎋Behind the scenes at St Mellion Dental Clinic 🎋

People often comment on how peaceful the clinic feels, tucked away in the orchard and surrounded by countryside.

We know visiting the dentist isn't everyone's favourite thing, so creating a calm and welcoming environment really matters to us - from the music in reception to having time for a proper conversation, and as we don't have a traditional waiting room, you can wait in the comfort of your own car - listening to your own choice of music or reading while watching the wonderful birds visiting the feeder 🐦

Thank you to all our lovely patients who continue to support our small family-run practice. We truly appreciate it.

🌞 A little May reminder from St Mellion Dental Clinic 🌞

Longer days, bank holidays, BBQs, cream teas (jam first of course) and iced coffees can all play havoc with sensitive teeth!

If you've noticed discomfort with hot, cold or sweet foods, it may be worth getting things checked sooner rather than later.

We believe dentistry should feel calm, friendly and unhurried - somewhere patients feel listed to rather than rushed.

🌸May at St Mellion Dental Clinic 🌸

Usually the apple trees are blossoming around the clinic, but they're a bit slow this year. Perhaps they had such a mammoth harvest last year that they're resting this year! But the countryside is looking beautiful again after a long winter.

A reminder that regular dental check-ups are about much more than teeth - they help us keep an eye on gums, oral health and small problems before they become larger ones.

If you've been meaning to book an appointment, now is a good time to get ahead before the busy summer months arive.

As always, a warm welcome awaits in our little barn in the orchard. 🍏

We had two very charming red-legged partridges wander through our car park today - clearly here for a cheep checkup!

They didn’t stay for a scale and polish, but they certainly brightened our morning. Just another reminder that you’ll never know who’ll stop by when you keep your smile welcoming! 🤩

This week’s dental clinic drama… not teeth, computers.

After an epic battle between SURGERY, OFFICE and Amelia, involving mysterious credentials, networking gremlins and several cups of coffee, the computers are finally speaking to each other again.

No patients were harmed during the process.
My sanity may need a scale and polish.

Along the drive they stand in golden rows,
A sunrise blooming where the west wind blows.
Bright trumpets lifted to the Cornish sky,
They greet each visitor who passes by.

They sway like laughter in the early breeze,
Light dancing softly through their tangled leaves;
A quiet welcome, warm and full of cheer—
