Coombe Dental Care was founded in 2005 and was created to give all patients high quality dental care in a calm and relaxed environment. It is conveniently located just on the edge of Salisbury City Centre and has its own generous car park.
Coombe Dental Care offers private dental care to both children and adults alike. We are also Denplan accredited and able to offer the Denplan Scheme to patients, with various options available.
Our aim is to make your visit to the dentist peaceful and relaxed experience in which you feel welcomed in a way in which you have no hesitation recommending us to family and friends for our care.
We have 3 wonderful dentist’s here at Coombe Dental Care and a fabulous Hygienist along with our friendly dental nursing and reception team.
Dr Belinda Vohra the founder of Coombe Dental Care qualified as a Dentist in 1991 following her training at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. Belinda spend the next 3 years training in Oral Surgery sharing her time between the Royal London Hospital and the more familiar Salisbury District Hospital.
In 1994 Belinda joined Wilton Dental Practice as an associate she remained there for the next 10 years with an ultimate ambition of owning and running her own dental practice.
In 2005 Belinda made the jump and brought a residential property on the Coombe Road on the outskirts Salisbury City Centre. Belinda then designed and converted this property into the dental practice you see today.
Belinda enjoys all aspects of dentistry however has a special interest in Dental Implantology. In 2013 Belinda achieved an MSc in Dental Implantology with a distinction from Bristol University. She has been placing Dental Implants successfully at Coombe Dental Care ever since using the Straumann Dental Implant system. Belinda takes her time with each patient to listen carefully to any concerns you have and provides clear explanations of any dental treatment that she may propose to her patients.
During her spare time Belinda is a keen triathlete completing both an Etape Du Tour and a half iron man.
Dr Richard Coates joined the team at Coombe Dental Care in 2017. Richard graduated from the University of Cardiff in 2011 and Salisbury is his home town.
Richard prides himself with his gentle hand when it comes to dentistry, he works as a team with his accomplished dental nurse Natasha to provide painless dentistry to a high technical standard. Richard likes to keep up to date with all of the latest dental techniques and developments. Richard has a particular interest in both minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry and aesthetics with his passion for improving smiles using as little dental intervention as possible.
Richard is also qualified to provide Invisalign orthodontic treatment, an invisible method for straightening out those crooked teeth without anyone even knowing you are having treatment. In addition to this Richard expanded his field further and can also provide Anti Wrinkle Treaments for patients creating a subtle, elegant and rejuvenated appearance.
During his spare time Richard enjoys spending time with family and friends, learning about art, history and philosophy and Richard is also a keen piano player.
Dr Georgina Saunders is the most recent addition to the team at Coombe Dental Care. Georgina qualified from the University of Central Lancashire in 2017 following a degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Plymouth.
Georgina originally from Bristol made the move to Salisbury in 2018 and is very much enjoying living in the busy Wiltshire city.
Georgina enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a special interest in treating patients who are very nervous about attending the dentist, patients who have periodontal (gum) related problems and also some aspects of aesthetic dentistry. Georgina focuses on minimally invasive treatments ensuring she is updated with all of the latest techniques and developments in the dental industry. Georgina is also qualified to provide two forms of orthodontic treatment, Invisalign Go and Quick Straight Teeth. Both of these orthodontic methods can be carried out over a short period of time and ideal for those with a deadline for a gleaming straight smile.
Georgina has previously worked as a Special Care dentist at the Salisbury Community Dental Centre using her kind gentle nature and superb dental skills to treat those with additional needs.
During her spare time Georgina enjoys being active, running and baking.
