🦷 Not all tooth wear is “just part of getting older.”

Worn, flattened or chipped teeth can be a sign of grinding or clenching (bruxism). If the underlying cause isn’t addressed, tooth wear can continue to progress and become more difficult to manage.

Over time, this can lead to:

• Increased sensitivity
• Cracks or fractures
• Weakened teeth
• Further loss of tooth structure

In this case, Dr Brindha added a composite filling to the worn area of each tooth to help protect the tooth from further wear and reduce sensitivity.

If you’ve noticed tooth wear, sensitivity, chipping or flattened teeth, speak to your dentist. Protecting the tooth early can help prevent more extensive damage in the future. 🦷✨
