This patient came to us with a heavily broken tooth that couldn’t be saved. On the same day as the extraction, we placed a dental implant and fitted a temporary crown — so they never had to leave with a gap.

A hidden area many patients struggle to clean 👀

This patient had tartar build-up around their lower fixed retainer, a very common area for plaque and tartar to accumulate over time.

Using Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), our lovely therapist Sarah carefully removed the build-up, helping restore a cleaner, healthier smile while protecting the gums and teeth around the retainer ✨

Regular hygiene visits are especially important if you have bonded retainers, as these areas can be difficult to clean effectively at home.
