🧬 New Research: Oral Health & Breast Cancer 🦷💗

Emerging studies suggest a possible link between gum disease and breast cancer risk.

🦠 A common gum disease bacterium (Fusobacterium nucleatum) has been found in breast tissue in lab studies, where it may promote inflammation and tumor growth.
📊 Some studies show higher breast cancer risk in women with periodontal disease - especially postmenopausal women.
