⭐️⭐️Tsj smile Ltd is offering an exciting opportunity for 3 apprentice dental nurses to join a friendly team across our 6 practices.
Candidates should be keen to learn, friendly, and pleasant. Good communication skills are required in this patient-faced role. They must also be reliable, well presented, hardworking and a team player.
The role consists of working chairside assisting the dentist for all treatment ranging from NHS dentistry to cosmetic (private treatment) under the guidance of a senior qualified dental nurse and the support of the practice manager and team.
Key responsibilities will Include patient care within surgery, infection control, communication and data protection.
Desired qualifications Maths and English 4/C or above.
Training provided (college attendance required at Barnsley) Level 3 Dental Nurse apprenticeship standard, which includes...Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing
Level 2 functional skills in maths and English (if required) End point assessment On the job training.

We have had a large influx of missed appointments last week. If you are unable to attend your appointment please can you call the practice on 01226 722591 as soon as possible so we can offer the appointment to someone else that needs it.

Our policy is if patients fail to attend 2 NHS appointments, we will no longer be able to offer anymore appointments.

❌Missed Appointments❌

Last month a significant number of appointments have been missed without prior cancellation. Since welcoming new patients to the practice, approximately 16 hours 10 minutes of surgery time has being lost. This time could have been used to provide care to other patients in need.

To help us provide the best possible service, we ask that you:
- Attend all appointments on time
- Inform us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange (ideally with 24 hours’ notice)

Repeated missed appointments will result in the cancellation of your registration with the practice.

Any new patients who miss their first appointments will not be offered another appointment and will need to seek dental treatment elsewhere.
