🚨 We learned something during our recent CPR training that genuinely surprised us…

Many people believe you need to cut off a woman’s bra before using a defibrillator (AED).

❌ You don’t.

In a cardiac arrest, every second counts. Delaying treatment because you’re worried about a bra, underwire, or causing embarrassment could cost someone their life.

AED pads can be placed directly onto the skin around a bra, and the small risk of a minor burn from underwire is insignificant compared to the risk of not acting at all.

This was something none of our team knew before our recent CPR training, which is exactly why education and awareness matter.

Misinformation can be dangerous. Knowledge saves lives.
