🥤Food labelling matters...

Today the Health and Social Care Committee has backed timid half measures, when decisive action is required.

🚥The ‘traffic light’ system works for industry precisely because it is both so familiar and so ineffective.

🛑These bold warnings - now the norm for hundreds of millions across Central and South America - are resisted precisely because they deliver the goods.

↪️The objective here must be to change consumer behaviour.

🌎There are tried and tested models from abroad the Government could sign up to, that really could turn the tide on tooth decay and obesity.

Given the scale of this crisis, we cannot accept the feedback of the Food and Drink Federation, who told the Committee they "would not support something being called a warning label because all food is safe to eat." Dentists see the results of these 'safe' products every single day.

MEET NADIA🙌🏻
GENERAL DENTIST AND FACIAL AESTHETICS - GDC: 153823
Nadia has a particular interest in facial aesthetic treatments including anti-wrinkle treatments, soft tissue fillers, microneedling, chemical peels and mesotherapy.
Nadia qualified as a dentist in 2008. Her journey into facial aesthetics started by enrolling with Ulster university and completing a post graduate diploma (achieving distinction) in facial aesthetics as part of a programme led by the Consultant Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon, Ali Ghanem. The course advanced her knowledge in the field of non-surgical facial aesthetics and allowed her to study alongside other medical professionals, covering basics through to advanced treatments.
She continued her education with Harley Academy and completed a Level 7 diploma in injectables. The course focused on Botox and Dermal filler treatment with much of her time spent treating patients with 1-to-1 tuition.
In addition, and to compliment the Level 7 diploma in injectables she also completed a Cosmetic Dermatology course at Harley Academy to gain in depth knowledge of cosmetic skin treatments such as micro needling, chemical peels and mesotherapy.
