MEET THE TEAM – BEHIND THE SCENES
This week, we’re starting our Meet the Team series by introducing the person who keeps so much of what happens behind the scenes running smoothly… our Practice Manager, Nyckie! 💜
Nyckie first joined the practice in 2004 at just 20 years old, starting her career as a trainee dental nurse. She qualified just one year later and has continued to develop her skills and qualifications throughout her career.
✨ Nyckie’s career journey:
🦷 2004 – Joined the practice as a trainee dental nurse
🎓 2005 – Qualified as a dental nurse
💤 2008 – Gained her sedation qualification
🪥 2010 – Qualified in fluoride application for children
👩⚕️ 2012 – Became Head Dental Nurse
📸 2015 – Qualified in dental radiography
📋 2017 – Became Practice Manager
🎓 Went on to achieve an advanced qualification in Practice Management
Fast forward 22 years, and Nyckie is still very much at the heart of our practices. 💜
As Practice Manager, Nyckie looks after an incredible amount behind the scenes from managing our finances and wages, organising staff holidays and supporting the whole team, to dealing with patient complaints and everything in between!
But one of the things that makes Nyckie so special is the care she has for the people around her. She is approachable, caring and always there for her team whenever they need her. ❤️
And when she’s not keeping the practices running, Nyckie is a busy mum of two.
After 22 years, Nyckie has certainly become a huge part of the practice family and we’re so lucky to have her! 🥰
Thank you, Nyckie, for everything you do behind the scenes! 💜🦷
Keep an eye out for our next Meet the Team Behind the Scenes post, where we’ll be introducing another member of our amazing team!
