NHS dental treatment includes all treatment necessary to secure and maintain your oral health. We also provide a full range of private treatment options for patients who choose to have treatment that is not available on the NHS, such as cosmetic dentistry. We take great pride in the quality of our dentistry. Our main aim is good dental health for you and your family through preventative dentistry.

We at Dental Centre of Excellence, are becoming increasingly aware of the struggle individuals are facing when trying to register with an NHS dental practice. We are delighted to announce we are accepting new NHS patients to our practice.

Due to associate going on maternity, 2 positions have become available. 4/5 days position for an annual contract of 5000 UDAs and 2 days position for an annual contract of 2,500 UDA's. Current guideline is minimum of 85% of annual target. Good UDA rate. Some flexibility on days can be accommodated Monday to Thursday but no exceptions for a Friday. Fully Covid -19 SOP compliant and the practice has been appointed as an Urgent dental Centre through covid -19 and to date. Dental Centre of Excellence, following guidance from the government and the Chief Dental Officer, we will remain open and continue to support our patients and community through lockdown.
Priority will be given to emergency patients and patients in pain. Following a risk assessment we will endeavour to see all patients needing dental treatment.
Our opening hours will remain daily Monday to Friday 9 am to 5pm closed for lunch between 1-2 pm.

Return to work -COVID-19 Practice Policy

As of 8/06 we will be reopening to face to face contact for emergency pain patients,acute and chronic conditions eg lost fillings,fractured teeth, and extractions .
As we facilitate a return to work for our team we will introduce new COVID-19 standard operating protocols and policies . This will be carried out by risk assessments to safeguard our patients and staff daily through this period of COVID-19.
We request your, patience,cooperation and understanding in following strict adherence to these procedures.
Patient pathways will change and due to social distancing we will have reduced appointment slots in phase 1 of return to work.
The face of dentistry under COVID-19 will change and routine dentistry will phase in as part of phase 2 as Personal Protective Equipment becomes more available to the practice and dentistry as a profession . At present we need to work together to prioritise emergency pain patients and immediate fractured teeth .
We will endeavour to continue to support you with advice and feedback.

Dental Centre of Excellence :COVID-19 Update.

DCE continues to support patients through this COVID -19 pandemic to provide telephone triaging with ADVICE , ANALGESICS and ANTIBIOTICS prescriptions if required during normal practice hours.
Please call the practice on 01527 63050 or 01527 63387.
We will now be referring any urgent dental treatment needed to the local referral urgent dental centres in Worcestershire .This will only be emergency dental treatment. Once this treatment is carried out for you , you will be discharged back to our care for after care and continuing treatment on return to face to face dental practice.

We urge all patients to call in as early as possible with dental emergencies to facilitate effective, efficient dental triaging and appropriate time for referrals to take place if required.
Urgent Dental Centres are located in various areas in Worcestershire and some travelling maybe required.

The out of hours emergency service is still applicable on weekends and bank holidays through 111.
