Restoring missing teeth is about more than filling a gap. It is about helping your smile feel balanced, natural and like your own again 🦷

With careful planning and attention to detail, dental implants helped restore this patient’s smile while improving both appearance and confidence ✨

Having different areas of dentistry under one roof can make your care feel much simpler 🦷

At Woodborough House, your treatment may involve your general dentist and hygienist, but you may also need support with orthodontics, implants, restorative treatment or cosmetic dentistry.

Because our clinicians work together, everyone involved in your care can understand the bigger picture and communicate about what is right for you 💬🤍

Whether you are replacing a missing tooth, improving your bite, considering composite bonding or simply keeping on top of your routine dental health, your care can be planned in one place with a team who knows you 😊

It is all part of providing thoughtful, joined-up dentistry that supports your oral health for the long term.

Sometimes trust starts before you even walk through the door 🤍

Ofek remembers his first conversation with Laura and how quickly her knowledge and professionalism put him at ease.

Being able to speak with someone who could understand his situation, answer questions clearly and guide him through those first steps gave him confidence in the practice from the very beginning 💬

At Woodborough House, every part of the patient experience matters. From that first phone call onwards, we want you to feel listened to, reassured and looked after by people who genuinely care.

Thank you Ofek for such lovely feedback about Laura ✨

One of the biggest concerns patients have before implant surgery is whether it will hurt 🦷🤍

Although some of the treatments Nick carries out are complex, his approach is to keep surgery as minimally invasive as possible wherever appropriate.

Care also continues after you leave the practice. As part of our follow-up, we call patients the next day to check how they are feeling, go through their aftercare again and make sure they feel supported ✨

We are often told that recovery has been far more comfortable than patients expected. Some even say their implant treatment felt easier than having a tooth removed.

For us, good care is not just about the treatment itself. It is also about helping you feel informed, reassured and looked after before, during and after your appointment 😊

For anyone who feels anxious about visiting the dentist, this lovely review is a reminder that your experience can feel different 🤍

By listening carefully, working at your pace and offering the right support, even long-held dental fears can begin to feel more manageable. We are so pleased that sedation helped this patient feel calm and comfortable throughout their treatment, and that the care continued with a follow-up call the next day.

Thank you for trusting our team and for sharing such thoughtful words. It means a great deal to everyone at Woodborough House ✨

Broken teeth, decay, infections and alignment problems are all things we regularly see in practice 🦷

Sometimes a tooth has already had a lot of treatment over the years, which can leave it more vulnerable to breaking or developing further problems.

In other cases, decay may have progressed, the nerve inside the tooth may have become involved, or the way the teeth sit together may be causing concern 👀

Whatever the issue, the first step is understanding exactly what is happening. We take time to assess the tooth properly, explain what we can see and talk you through the options clearly 💬

What happens if you’ve been told your teeth are failing? 🦷

The first step is making sure that really is the case.

Teeth can fail for different reasons, and gum disease is one of the most common. In some situations, our gum specialist may be able to help save teeth that might otherwise be lost.

If some teeth cannot be saved, there are still several ways to restore your smile and function. Depending on your situation, this could include dentures, dental implants, or implants used to help support and secure a denture.

The important thing is that there is rarely just one route forward. We take time to assess everything carefully, explain the options clearly and help you understand what is most appropriate for your mouth 🤍

Patient stories like Ofek’s mean a great deal to our team 🤍

After experiencing problems with implants placed when he was younger, Ofek came to Woodborough House looking for a team he could trust with the next stage of his care.

For him, it was the thoroughness that made the difference. Taking time to assess everything carefully, explain the options clearly and make sure he felt confident before moving forward 🦷

What means even more is hearing that he felt genuinely cared for as a person, not simply treated as a patient. That is at the heart of how we approach dentistry at Woodborough House.

And now Ofek’s wife comes to see us too, with their little one soon joining us for his very first appointment 😊

Thank you for sharing your experience and for trusting our team with your family’s care ✨

Treating people, not just teeth 🤍

At Woodborough House, caring for our patients means looking at the person behind the smile.

We treat every patient with the same honesty, thoughtfulness and care we would want for our own family and friends. That includes taking the time to listen, explaining things clearly and only recommending treatment when it is genuinely in your best interests 💬✨

Sometimes, the right advice may mean doing less rather than more. What matters most is that you feel supported, respected and confident in the care you receive.

That belief sits at the heart of everything we do 🦷

Healthy gums support more than your smile 🦷

Gum disease is very common and can often develop without pain. If it progresses, it may damage the bone and tissues supporting your teeth, while the inflammation can also affect your wider health.

Regular hygiene appointments help remove plaque and bacteria from areas that are difficult to clean at home. Your hygienist can also show you the most effective way to brush and clean between your teeth, using floss or interdental brushes where appropriate ✨

For more advanced gum disease, specialist support may be needed. At Woodborough House, Dr Kuljeet Mehta works alongside our hygienists and therapists to provide thoughtful, personalised care in a calm and supportive environment 🤍

Small, consistent steps can make a real difference to your gum health and help protect your smile for the long term.
