So this is “our Molly”
Thanks to the life-saving actions of a quick-thinking bystander and SECAmb clinicians, a Sandhurst man hopes he’ll get the chance to see an 80s hit-maker he missed out on after suffering a cardiac arrest outside Brighton concert venue.
Barry was looking forward to the concert on Saturday, 22 November 2025 with his wife Sheila and friends. But their night out never went as planned. Before they could enter the venue, Barry collapsed outside the Grand Hotel in Brighton on their way to the concert. 🚨
A security guard immediately began vital chest compressions while friends called 999. By chance, Paramedic Molly and Trainee Associate Ambulance Practitioner Koby were driving past and witnessed the incident. They pulled over straight away and began administering life-saving care.
As part of , Barry and Sheila were recently reunited with some of team including Molly, Koby, Emergency Care Support Worker (ECSW), Clare, Associate Ambulance Practitioner (AAP) Mark and Emergency Medical Advisor (EMA) Lorna who helped save his life! 💚
