🦷🦷Meet Our Newest Team member🦷🦷
Say hello to our fantastic new dentist Dr Sam Wheeler.
Originally from Corfe Mullen, Sam earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Cardiff University Dental School before completing his Dental Foundation Training in Swansea. Returning to his local roots in Poole, he brings a caring, patient-centered ethos to the team at Thistledene.
His clinical focus centers on tooth preservation and minimally invasive techniques. Wherever possible, he prioritizes direct composite restorations to protect and preserve natural tooth structure. At the same time, he is fully experienced in providing durable, high-quality crown and bridgework.
Alongside general restorative care, Sam offers clear aligner orthodontic therapy to help patients subtly and comfortably achieve aligned smiles. He is committed to maintaining a calm, welcoming environment where patients feel heard and fully informed at every stage of their treatment.
Outside of the clinic he enjoys staying active, frequently spending his free time on the golf course alongside his fiancée, Vicky.
Sam looks forward to welcoming you into the practice.
