During the Christmas break the following arrangements are in place for emergency dental care:

Weekends and Bank Holidays including Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, please call Cwm Taf Dental Helpline on 0300 123 5060.

Christmas Eve & December 29th, please call Huw Wilding Dental Practice on 07359 019601.

Tuesday 30th December, New Year’s Eve and Friday 2nd January, between 9am - 1pm please call the main practice number on 01443 842301. 2pm - 5pm, please call our practice mobile on 07938 750028.

We’ll be open as normal from Monday 5th January.

Trainee Dental Nurse required at our small, family practice near Pontypridd.

The candidate would be part of a small, but experienced team and would be given all the support and experience required for successful completion of their training.

Our practice is recently refurbished and offers a wide range of both NHS, plan and private treatments are provided including Invisalign, facial aesthetics and other aesthetic treatments, as well as all routine care and treatment.

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you would work with both Dentist and Dental Therapist, gaining experience and skills in working with different operators, fully-supported always.

In addition to your practical training, you will be required to undertake a formal qualification with Tooth Fairies. This is a City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing.

Candidate will ideally have achieved A-C in English & Maths at GCSE Level or equivalent.

Position is required from June 23rd but start date can be flexible.

Hours of work are - Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:15pm (lunch 1-2pm), of course with allowance for planned training sessions with Tooth Fairies.
