Patient Notice – Respectful Conduct

We would like to remind all patients that we operate a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive behaviour, threatening language, or foul and offensive language within the practice.

Staff members are here to support you and provide the best possible care. They have the right to carry out their work in a safe and respectful environment, free from abuse, intimidation, or threatening behaviour.

We ask that all patients treat our staff with the same courtesy and respect that they would expect to receive themselves.

Any patient who behaves abusively, uses threatening or offensive language, or intimidates a member of staff will be subject to immediate deregistration from the practice.

If you would like to become a patient and register with the dental practice, please complete the registration process via our website:

Read the information provided carefully.

Complete the registration form with all the requested information.

Please ensure that you provide all of the information requested, as incomplete forms may delay the registration process.

Once we have received and reviewed your information, we will contact you to arrange a registration examination appointment.

⚠️ Please note: Completing the online form does not mean that you are registered with the dental practice. You will only become registered once you have attended your initial examination appointment.

‼️ Attention Patients ‼️

We require all patients to update their medical history annually to ensure that we have the most accurate and up-to-date information on file. This helps us provide safe and appropriate treatment based on your current medical circumstances.

Medical history updates are sent to you via SMS and can be completed before your appointment. If you have not completed the form in advance, you will be required to complete it in practice.
For examination, emergency and new dentist appointments, the NHS requires a GP17 form to be completed in practice.

To help your appointment run on time, we kindly ask that you arrive 5/10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete any necessary paperwork. This will help prevent delays or time loss to your appointment.

We understand that a lot of our patients may rely on SMS messages to remind them of their upcoming appointments. Could we please ask that you do make note of these elsewhere or take an appointment card from reception. There can be the odd occasion where the system may have a glitch, power cut or you may not have signal and these messages wont be sent. Please dont rely solely on your SMS message to remind you.

‼️Cancellation Policy ‼️

We kindly ask that you provide us with 24 hours notice to cancel appointments if possible. This can also be done over the weekend and in the evenings by leaving a voicemail for the reception to pick up the following working day.

If not adhered to there could be a charge of £1 per minute of the appointment length.

Our SMS messages were down last week and are just getting back on track, so please be aware that you may not have received a SMS message reminder of your appointment. If you are unsure of when your appointment is please contact the practice on 01224 730111 for a reminder. We are trying our best to contact patients who have not received reminders.

We will be transitioning to a cashless payment system effective from today.

We will no longer accept cash payments. We will gladly accept:

Credit and debit cards
Contactless payments
