💚 £448.72 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support! 💚
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Macmillan Coffee Morning such a success across Stricklandgate Dental Practice and Fir Tree Dental Care. ☕🧁

Together we raised an amazing £448.72:

✨ Stricklandgate – £248.62
✨ Fir Tree – £200.10

Thank you to all of our wonderful team members who baked, donated and helped on the day, and of course to our lovely patients who supported us so generously. 💚

One of the most touching parts of the day was simply chatting with our patients and hearing just how many people have been affected by cancer in some way. It was a reminder of exactly why supporting charities like Macmillan is so important.

Thank you to every single person who donated, bought a cake or stopped for a chat — every contribution really does make a difference. 💚

Giving back beyond the practice 🦷💙

Today, Claire, one of our dental nurses, spent her own time volunteering in Blackpool with Dentaid, providing dental care and support to people experiencing homelessness.

What a fantastic thing to do, giving her time and skills to help people who can face real barriers to accessing dental care. 💙

We’re incredibly proud of Claire for getting involved in such a worthwhile cause and making a difference outside of her working day. 👏🏼🦷✨

🏃‍♀️✨ Running for a cause close to our hearts ✨🏃‍♀️

A huge well done to our dentist Chrissie and dental nurse Louise, who took on the Taste the Lakes Trail Half Marathon! 🏔️💪

Taking on 13.1 miles through some of the most beautiful scenery the Lake District has to offer is no small achievement — and even more special when it’s all for a great cause. 💚

The race supports Mac My Day, a local charity, aiming to find better treatments and a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

We’re so proud of you both — what an incredible achievement! 🥰👏

13.1 miles. One amazing challenge. An even more amazing cause. 💚

✨ AUGUST • ALICIA & JOE ✨

A little glimpse back at a very special celebration… 🤍

Our beautiful dental nurse Alicia married her love, Joe, in August — and we couldn’t be happier for them both. 🥂💍

Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter and beautiful memories together.

Congratulations, Mr & Mrs Henderson here’s to forever. 🤍✨

With love from all of us at the team 🦷🤍

When the nurse says, “I’ll just leave you to take the impression…” 😅🦷
How bad could it be?

Fast forward a few minutes… and somehow the patient, the denture technician AND the surgery are wearing the impression material. 😂

Thankfully, our denture technician has embraced the digital age! 📲✨

No more impression material. No more mess. No more wondering where it all went wrong.

With our digital scanner, impressions are now captured digitally — making the process cleaner, quicker and more comfortable for the patient.

From impression disaster ➡️ digital precision. 🦷💻

Our technician is always keeping up with the latest technology — because there’s a better way to make dentures.

When you and your dentist have worked together for so long… you don’t even need to speak 😂

No words. No problem. Just elite dental teamwork 🤌🏽

✨ A subtle smile transformation with composite bonding ✨

A beautiful before & after by Dr Ryan Jamieson, using composite bonding to enhance the shape, symmetry and proportions of the teeth while keeping the result natural-looking. 🦷

Composite bonding can be a fantastic minimally invasive option for improving chips, uneven edges, shape and overall smile aesthetics.
