This orthodontic relapse case, completed by Giles Jones, helped our patient regain confidence in her smile ahead of her wedding.

Her smile makeover included:

The FIFA World Cup may be over, but our Ghyllmount sweepstake certainly kept the excitement going ⚽🏆

We've had so much fun following the tournament together, and it's definitely brought out everyone's friendly competitive side in the practice.

A huge congratulations to Leanne, who picked Spain and takes the top spot after they were crowned World Cup champions! 🥇

A big well done as well to Karon, whose team Argentina finished as runners-up, earning her second place! 🥈

Thanks to everyone who took part and helped make it such a fun few weeks. We can't wait for the next office competition 😄⚽

‼️CALLING ALL PARENTS, CARERS, AUNTIES, UNCLES, GRANDPARENTS ‼️

☀️ With the Summer Holidays now underway, many of us will be travelling further afield and enjoying more outdoor activities and sports.

We wanted to share this important advice again as a reminder, just in case anyone ever needs it.

Losing an adult tooth can be frightening and stressful, but acting quickly can make all the difference.

🦷 If an adult tooth is knocked out:

1️⃣ Try to find the tooth.
2️⃣ Do not scrub the tooth or remove any tissue attached to it.
3️⃣ Gently rinse off any dirt using cold water or, ideally, your own saliva.
4️⃣ If you feel confident, carefully place the tooth back into the socket using gentle pressure. Check it is the right way around, but don't worry too much about the exact angle.
5️⃣ Contact a dentist immediately and ask to be seen straight away.
6️⃣ If you cannot replace the tooth, store it in saliva, milk or salt water. Do not wrap it in tissue or allow it to dry out.

⏰ Time is extremely important when it comes to saving a knocked-out adult tooth, so seek dental advice as quickly as possible.

Please remember: this advice applies to adult teeth only.
