Years of wear had taken their toll on these old crowns, and the patient came to us unhappy with how they were looking and feeling.

We replaced the failing restorations with two new ceramic crowns, carefully designed to blend naturally with the surrounding teeth and restore a healthier, more balanced smile.

The result is strong, natural-looking, and almost indistinguishable from her own teeth, and most importantly, the patient was absolutely delighted with the outcome.

Transformation time 🌟

1. The patient presented with a badly cracked, decayed and fractured tooth that could not be saved and needed to be extracted.

2. After careful extraction, the area was given time to heal properly over the following months.

3. Once healing was complete, a thorough discussion was had with the patient to present the risks and benefits of each treatment option. After careful consideration and discussion of all options, the patient opted for a fixed bridge. Mr Duggan carefully prepared the two neighbouring teeth (which were already restored with white fillings) to support a bridge.

4. The final result: a natural-looking all ceramic bridge that restores the missing tooth and helps bring back comfort, function, aesthetics and confidence.

Our OPG machine allows us to take a full image of your teeth and jaws in just seconds. The image appears instantly on your records, so we can review it together and clearly explain what we see.

The radiation dose is very low and carefully controlled. We briefly step out of the room because dental professionals are exposed to x-rays more frequently throughout the day.
