A 12-month smile transformation ✨

Facially driven, digitally smile-designed and delivered with a minimally invasive approach to aesthetic dentistry.

This comprehensive transformation involved periodontal treatment, root canal treatment, Invisalign aligners, crowns, veneers and a bridge — all carefully planned and completed over 12 months.

Giving this implant a new lease of life after more than 10 years. 🦷✨

This patient wasn’t happy with the appearance of an older implant on the lower left side. Their main concerns were:

• The crown no longer matched the colour of the surrounding teeth.
• A small amount of metal was visible near the gum.
• The dark gaps between the teeth (known as black triangles).

To refresh the smile, we:

✅ Closed the black triangles using Bioclear composite bonding.
✅ Replaced the old cement-retained crown with a new screw-retained zirconia crown for a brighter, more natural-looking result.

Dental implants can last for many years, but the crowns attached to them may eventually need updating. Sometimes, replacing the crown and making a few cosmetic improvements is all that’s needed to give an implant a completely fresh new look.

A nice way to finish the week with the completion of this smile makeover for an ex-dental nurse.

This treatment involved:

🦷 Upper Invisalign treatment to align the teeth
🦷 An upper left bridge to replace a failing tooth
🦷 An upper right crown (upper right 4)
🦷 Teeth whitening to brighten the smile (with extra effort on the darker upper right 1)
🦷 Composite bonding on two teeth today to provide the final finishing touches (upper 2’s)

A rewarding case to carried out at .care combining orthodontics, restorative dentistry and cosmetic finishing touches to achieve the final result.

Advanced Implant and Veneer Smile Transformation

A highly rewarding case for this patient, who had experienced repeated problems with a failing resin-bonded bridge replacing a front tooth lost following previous trauma.

The patient also presented with peg-shaped lateral incisors and older composite bonding that had become chipped and stained over time.

Following detailed planning, treatment included:
• Dental implant replacement of the missing front tooth
• Hard and soft tissue grafting to rebuild ideal support
• Temporary crown placement for soft tissue conditioning
• Final bespoke implant crown
• Professional teeth whitening
• Porcelain veneers on 3 teeth to enhance tooth shape, symmetry and overall smile aesthetics

This case required a careful combination of surgical precision and aesthetic dentistry to create a natural, balanced and long-lasting result.

This patient came to us concerned about missing upper right teeth. .care

We restored her smile with:
• A dental implant to replace the upper right 3, with soft tissue grafting
• A two-unit cantilever bridge with an ovate pontic to replace the upper right 4 and 5

Great to see a natural result with both function and confidence restored 😊

This lovely patient came to see us at Choices Dental Care Centre in Gedling looking to improve the appearance of her smile. She was particularly unhappy with the gap between her upper teeth and the wear affecting her lower teeth.

We carried out Invisalign treatment on both the upper and lower teeth to gently align the smile, followed by Boutique home whitening to brighten everything up. Finally, we restored the worn lower central incisors with natural-looking composite bonding to achieve a balanced, refreshed result.
