Advanced Implant and Veneer Smile Transformation

A highly rewarding case for this patient, who had experienced repeated problems with a failing resin-bonded bridge replacing a front tooth lost following previous trauma.

The patient also presented with peg-shaped lateral incisors and older composite bonding that had become chipped and stained over time.

Following detailed planning, treatment included:
• Dental implant replacement of the missing front tooth
• Hard and soft tissue grafting to rebuild ideal support
• Temporary crown placement for soft tissue conditioning
• Final bespoke implant crown
• Professional teeth whitening
• Porcelain veneers on 3 teeth to enhance tooth shape, symmetry and overall smile aesthetics

This case required a careful combination of surgical precision and aesthetic dentistry to create a natural, balanced and long-lasting result.

An incredibly enjoyable case to be part of, and most importantly, a real pleasure to see the patient so happy and confident with his new smile.

This patient came to us concerned about missing upper right teeth. .care

We restored her smile with:
• A dental implant to replace the upper right 3, with soft tissue grafting
• A two-unit cantilever bridge with an ovate pontic to replace the upper right 4 and 5

This lovely patient came to see us at Choices Dental Care Centre in Gedling looking to improve the appearance of her smile. She was particularly unhappy with the gap between her upper teeth and the wear affecting her lower teeth.

We carried out Invisalign treatment on both the upper and lower teeth to gently align the smile, followed by Boutique home whitening to brighten everything up. Finally, we restored the worn lower central incisors with natural-looking composite bonding to achieve a balanced, refreshed result.

R E A L I T Y

Not every patient can commit the time, energy or finances required for orthodontic treatment.

This lovely patient wanted to improve the appearance of her smile, particularly the gap between her teeth. While orthodontics remains the gold standard, it wasn’t the right option for her at this stage due to the length of treatment and number of appointments involved.

We kept things as simple and conservative as possible, using composite bonding on two teeth with a small reduction in height. Is it perfect? No. Is it a huge improvement? Absolutely, and most importantly, the patient is delighted.

Orthodontics isn’t always the best option for every person. The best treatment is the one that fits the patient, their circumstances and their expectations.

Such a pleasure looking after this lovely patient. Over the past 12 months we carried out Invisalign to carefully straighten her teeth, followed by home whitening to brighten her smile.

To finish, we added subtle composite bonding on the upper front four teeth to perfect the final shape and symmetry.

In this case, two dental implants have been placed to support a three-unit fixed implant bridge.

Hard and soft tissue grafting were carried out to rebuild the foundation. A tricky case managing this complex occlusion, but we’re really pleased with the end result.

Our patient can now forget about that partial denture that was affecting both function and confidence! A long-term solution that looks and feels natural.
