Meet Dr Jake Roberts 🦷

Jake qualified from Peninsula Dental School, Plymouth, in 2022 and has been a valued member of our team for the past four years. As our senior associate dentist, he enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in endodontics, restorative dentistry and composites.

Jacob is passionate about helping nervous patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their dental journey, finding great reward in building trust and transforming patient experiences.

Alongside his clinical work, Jake is also a foundation dentist trainee supervisor, supporting and mentoring newly qualified dentists. He is also continuing to expand his skills and knowledge, with plans to begin an implant dentistry course in September 2026.

Outside of work, you’ll find Jake either on the golf course or keeping active at the gym.

He is known by his patients for his calm, approachable manner and attention to detail as he takes great pride in delivering high quality patient focused care.

🛹✨ From Skateboard Mishap to Confident Smile! ✨🦷

This young patient came to see us after a skateboarding accident left them with a broken front tooth.

Dr Yusuf Nassar and Kirbie worked together to restore the tooth, carefully matching it to the surrounding teeth to create a natural-looking result. The goal was to get our patient smiling confidently again – and we’re thrilled with the outcome!

A huge well done to our patient, who was an absolute star throughout treatment.

Had your tooth break from an old metal filling? Unfortunately it’s a common story and we had a patient this week who unfortunately had this happen, causing the tooth to be in a lot of pain 😬😓. Within one emergency appointment we managed to achieved this lovely result for this patient, we’re proud to say we helped give back some of the structural support this tooth had lost whilst also aesthetically giving it a little makeover. If you ever unfortunately end up in this situation do not hesitate to come see us. Helping patients to chew with confidence at gentle dental 🦷

A lighter brighter smile ⚡️

This week Yusuf treated a patient who came in unhappy with the colour of the fillings on her two front teeth that had become defective. Let’s just say Yusuf and the patient were absolutely delighted with the new results 😁

🦷 another little sneak peak at what Dr Yusuf Nassar has been up to recently…

He recently helped a patient regain confidence in her smile after concerns about her front teeth fillings which has been placed a long time ago.

Dr Yusuf Nassar identified that her previous anterior composite fillings were become defective - leading to noticeable staining. After a careful assessment, he replaced them with beautifully crafted new composite restorations designed to look natural, fresh and long lasting.

The result? A brighter, more even smile that the patient feels proud to show off again 😊
