We're delighted to welcome Dr Kelly Lloyd to the team from March 5th!
Kelly grew up in Cambridge and qualified from Cardiff University with First Class Honours. She's since completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Prosthodontics—the specialist field of restorative and cosmetic dentistry—and holds a membership with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
Her favourite aspect of dentistry is working with nervous patients. As a nervous patient herself, Kelly understands exactly what causes dental anxiety. Her calm, kind manner helps restore confidence in those who feel apprehensive about treatment, offering them a genuinely stress-free experience. That approach has earned her recognition as a finalist for Best Young Dentist at both the Dentistry and Private Dentistry Awards in 2023 and 2024.
Kelly specializes in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, from crowns and veneers to smile makeovers. She's also an experienced Facial Aesthetics Practitioner, offering anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers and polynucleotide therapy with a focus on natural-looking results.
Outside the practice, Kelly's life revolves around Frankie, her cockapoo. She also runs a home cake-baking business and can usually be found lifting weights at the gym or competing in fitness racing events.
Kelly will be with us Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
