Are you suffering with toothache? We have “Urgent Care” slots reserved on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. For £85 we will assess and investigate your dental pain*, take X-rays if needed and provide you with a temporary filling, access the tooth, drain an abscess or provide a prescription if indicated. If you need an extraction we can do that for a small extra fee. Urgent slots are available on a first come first served basis and are released at 8am each morning. These are a pre-paid single visit standalone appointment. New patients will need to submit a registration form and completed medical history before an appointment can be made.
*only one item can be dealt with per Urgent Care appointment

Our NHS lists are nearing capacity and our clinics are very busy, particularly at peak times - after school and Saturdays. We have had to make the decision to restrict new patient NHS appointments for check-ups and treatment to off-peak times only when the clinic is quieter. We understand it’s not ideal for everyone but it’s the only way we can continue to take on new NHS patients. Our Complete Smile Scheme is unaffected and is available across our advertised opening hours.

At No1 VT we actively encourage our team to undertake further qualifications. Charlotte is studying Dental Hygiene, Amy is undertaking her Oral Health Practitioner Apprenticeship and Evie is coming to the end of her Dental Nurse Apprenticeship. This week Steffie and Lucy spent 2 days at the Northeast Deanery on a Fluoride Course. They will be completing a portfolio of case studies over the next few weeks which will then allow them to apply fluoride varnish for our patients. Dentistry is a team effort!

Do you have toothache?
We offer 4 NHS unscheduled care slots per week for new and existing patients. These appointments are designed to be a single visit to provide relief from pain or deal with lost fillings or broken teeth. These appointments cost £27.90 (exempt patients £0).
We also offer a number of private toothache slots throughout the week priced at £85.

We had another birthday to celebrate this week, our wonderful Therapist Josh! Do not be fooled by the carrier bag, Josh received a pair of star gazing vouchers but true to his vocation refused to have his picture taken with sweet treats or booze. There’s Mr Clarkson’s finest l***r in that bag and a selection of Waitrose Sweet Treats 😆 it’s your birthday you deserve it ###

We’ve noticed Mondays are a little quieter since the summer so we thought we’d make visiting us on a Monday even easier.
You can now get an airflow polish for just £45 and our deluxe hygiene package (scale/polish/epitex) for just £32.50 on Monday’s throughout October (we have a little space on Monday 28th September if you want to get in early). New and existing patients welcome!
