Important Coronavirus Update
Thank you for your continued loyalty and trust in New Forest Dental Practice, promising pain-free dentistry during these uncertain times.
Please let me assure you that our commitment and responsibility towards your well-being and dental care has never been stronger as we face the COVID–19 pandemic.
Here’s How We Are We Going To Do This:
Rest-assured that we are continuously monitoring the ever-changing guidelines and circumstances surrounding the corona virus and we are going above and beyond to keep you and our team SAFE and HEALTHY.
Here are 6 peace-of-mind action steps we are employing…
1. Our strict hygiene and cleaning protocols are reinforced on a daily basis to keep our practice SAFE and CLEAN; but this is nothing new for us and we adhere to the best practice guidelines at all times.
a. We are requesting all patients who are attending the practice use a handwash/disinfecting gel on immediate entry into the practice.
b. All our team members are trained in correct hand-washing techniques and undertake this as routine. We pride ourselves on the extremely high standards of our cleanliness and keeping our patients safe.
2. We are assessing each team member throughout the day and each patient when they enter the practice.
a. We are being extra-vigilant for signs and symptoms of infection such as a temperature or cough.
3. We are spacing our appointments to allow a full-10 minutes between each patient
a. This will reduce the patient-to-patient interactions and crossovers between appointments.
b. This will allow our team additional time to clean and sterilize the treatment rooms, restroom facilities and reception/waiting areas between each patient.
4. We are requesting patients attend alone and refrain from hand-shakes or unnecessary contact with communal surfaces.
a. By directing patients immediately into the treatment rooms where possible, we will reduce the chances of contact contaminations and viral spread.
5. Sterilisation of our instruments and equipment and the high standards of hygiene undertaken by our Team mean that there is no risk of catching the virus from a procedure at New Forest Dental Practice
a. Most instruments and materials are single-use only and all sterilization procedures are adhering to the strict government guidance of HTM1-05.
6. We are arranging specific accommodations for those in high risk categories.
a. We are available to offer anyone who is over 70 or medically compromised appointments at an arranged quiet time.
b. We are utilizing phone calls to talk to our patients and provide advice on treatment without their need to attend the practice.
Please be assured that our team will continue to provide you with the highest level of service in a SAFE and CLEAN environment during your time with us. Any questions or concerns please call 01425 619616.
Here’s to your health and safety
