COVID Testing
There has been much in the media over recent months about testing for COVID infection, and how this is a very important part of dealing with the pandemic. Initially there were no tests for COVID infection, but as time has passed different tests have become available.
The Government has opened centres for testing, which have been covered in the media, but access to these has been very limited. These have been used to help diagnose NHS staff, very vulnerable people and other key workers.
As we are now starting to return to the workplace, it is becoming important for businesses and individuals to be able to assess their COVID status, to allow the risks of returning to work, or even returning to ‘normal’ activities such as shopping or socialising, to be assessed and understood.
It is only when these risks are understood that they can be safely assessed and companies and individuals can make key decisions about returning to some form of normal life.
