Our team from Oxford House Dental Practice recently attended the Careers Fair at Shenley Brook End School, where we had the opportunity to speak with students about the different routes into dentistry and the diverse roles available within modern dental practices.

It was wonderful to meet so many engaged and ambitious young people, answer their questions, and provide an insight into what it's like to work in the dental profession. Whether students were interested in clinical care, patient support, healthcare management or specialist dental roles, there was plenty to discuss.

As a Milton Keynes dental practice, we're proud to support local schools and contribute to career education within our community. Encouraging the next generation to explore healthcare careers is something we're incredibly passionate about.

Thank you to Shenley Brook End School for welcoming us, we look forward to supporting more community initiatives in the future.

Oxford House Dental Practice supporting UnityMK Compassionate Café 💙

At Oxford House Dental Practice, we're passionate about supporting the people and organisations that help make Milton Keynes a stronger, more connected place to live.

That's why members of our team recently spent time at UnityMK's Compassionate Café, a fantastic local initiative providing support, connection and a welcoming environment for people experiencing homelessness.

UnityMK's mission is to break the cycle of homelessness by creating pathways of support that empower people to feel valued, connected, find a home and ultimately thrive. Seeing the impact of this work first-hand was both inspiring and humbling.

As a Milton Keynes dental practice, we believe community care extends far beyond dental health. Whether we're caring for patients in the surgery or supporting local charities, we're proud to play our part in building a more compassionate community.

Supporting healthy smiles in our community 🦷

Recently, our Wilson House Dental Practice team had the wonderful opportunity to visit Youth Club Pre-School in Newport Pagnell to speak with their early years children about the importance of good oral health.

During our visit, we talked about:
✅ The importance of regular dental check-ups
✅ Proper tooth brushing techniques
✅ Healthy dental habits to help growing smiles stay strong

Community dental education is something we care deeply about, and we are incredibly thankful for opportunities like this to help children build positive dental habits from an early age.

A heartfelt thank you to Youth Club Pre-School for welcoming our team and allowing us to share this important message with their young learners.

Last week, our team at Oxford House Dental Practice proudly took part in the UnityMK Big Sleepout 2026, sleeping out for one night to help raise awareness and vital funds to support people experiencing homelessness in Milton Keynes.

It was a truly inspiring event to be part of, and we are so proud of our amazing team for coming together to support such an important cause through fundraising and community action.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, supported and encouraged us along the way. Together, we can help make a difference and support the incredible work being done to end homelessness in Milton Keynes!

This Deaf Awareness Week (4th - 10th May), our practices are proud to come together in support of the deaf community 💙

We have hearing loops available in practice, and our team is always happy to help support your dental visit in any way we can. If you need any assistance, please just ask a member of the team.

As part of this video, our teams have been learning sign language to help share an important message of inclusion and support. We are still learning, so please forgive us if every sign isn’t perfect, this comes from a place of care, respect and a genuine commitment to making everyone feel welcome ✨

We had such a great evening this Thursday at our Dental Implant Open Evening at Wilson House Dental Practice!

It was lovely to welcome patients who are exploring their options for dental implant treatment and give them the opportunity to speak directly with our experienced dentists and support team. The evening included an informative presentation to help guests better understand the different treatment options and what the journey involves, all in a relaxed and friendly setting.
