🧚✨ Even the Tooth Fairy needs a check-up! 🦷

This National Tooth Fairy Day, our resident fairies have swapped collecting teeth for checking in on their own smiles… because even magical teeth need a little TLC. ✨

A few important Tooth Fairy rules:

🦷 Regular dental check-ups are a must - fairies included.
🍬 Sweet treats are absolutely allowed, but enjoy them responsibly and keep sugary snacks to mealtimes where possible.
🪥 Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste to keep those little smiles sparkling.
💷 And parents… we hear inflation has officially reached the Tooth Fairy economy. Apparently, 50p just doesn’t have the buying power it used to! 👀🧚

There’s nothing we enjoy more than helping little smiles grow with confidence! 🦷✨

Recently, our team had the pleasure of visiting Buttons Pre-School for a fun and interactive dental education session. We spent time talking about how to keep teeth healthy, why brushing is so important, and helping the children feel positive about visiting the dentist.

At Wilson House Dental Practice, we believe that building healthy habits starts from a young age, and we're passionate about supporting families and our local community through dental education. It's always a privilege to work with local schools and pre-schools to help children feel comfortable, confident and excited about looking after their smiles.

There’s something special about Dental Forum.

It’s one of the few moments in the year where the wider dental community comes together, not just to talk business, but to share ideas, build relationships and learn from one another.

Team Kana had a fantastic time at Dental Forum 2026, catching up with familiar faces, making new connections and exploring the conversations shaping the future of dentistry. From thought-provoking discussions and valuable market insights to innovative ideas that challenge the status quo, there was plenty to take away.

We were especially proud to see our own Kaival Patel take to the stage as part of a panel discussion, sharing his perspectives alongside other industry experts.

To everyone we had the pleasure of speaking with, whether we’ve known you for years or met for the very first time, thank you. Every conversation made the event what it was.

And of course, a huge thank you to the organisers for bringing together another brilliant Dental Forum.

We're now back home inspired, energised and looking forward to the opportunities and collaborations ahead.

Our team from Oxford House Dental Practice recently attended the Careers Fair at Shenley Brook End School, where we had the opportunity to speak with students about the different routes into dentistry and the diverse roles available within modern dental practices.

It was wonderful to meet so many engaged and ambitious young people, answer their questions, and provide an insight into what it's like to work in the dental profession. Whether students were interested in clinical care, patient support, healthcare management or specialist dental roles, there was plenty to discuss.

As a Milton Keynes dental practice, we're proud to support local schools and contribute to career education within our community. Encouraging the next generation to explore healthcare careers is something we're incredibly passionate about.

At Oxford House Dental Practice, we're passionate about supporting the people and organisations that help make Milton Keynes a stronger, more connected place to live.

That's why members of our team recently spent time at UnityMK's Compassionate Café, a fantastic local initiative providing support, connection and a welcoming environment for people experiencing homelessness.

UnityMK's mission is to break the cycle of homelessness by creating pathways of support that empower people to feel valued, connected, find a home and ultimately thrive. Seeing the impact of this work first-hand was both inspiring and humbling.

As a Milton Keynes dental practice, we believe community care extends far beyond dental health. Whether we're caring for patients in the surgery or supporting local charities, we're proud to play our part in building a more compassionate community.
