Providing friendly and professional dentistry to the residents of Midhurst and the wider South Downs

As you walk into our clean and pristine Dental Practice you’ll be greeted by our reception staff. Once your dentist has been notified you’ll be directed to a separate waiting area, a calm and relaxing atmosphere where free Wifi access is provided while you wait. There is plenty of free parking both on the small private side road immediately outside the practice and on the main road. It’s often difficult to get away to the dentist during the working week, so we offer early morning appointments from 8am on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Our private and Denplan patients have a complete out-of hour’s emergency service, this includes weekends and bank holidays. We have step-free disabled access to all parts of the practice (downstairs treatment rooms, reception, waiting room and toilet). We have just proudly installed a brand new surgery and recently updated our decontamination room for the cleansing and sterilisation of all our instruments. Our protocol and equipment go far beyond essential requirements and our shining CQC report reflects this.

Don't panic!

1. Don't force your teeth: Never jump ahead two stages.
2. Pop in your previous tray: Wear your previous aligner to stop your teeth from shifting back.
3. Call us straight away: We’ll evaluate your progress and order a replacement tray immediately.

Fact: Brushing too hard acts like sandpaper on your teeth! It wears away protective enamel and causes your gums to recede, exposing sensitive roots. Always use a soft-bristled electric toothbrush and let the brush do the work with light, gentle pressure.

Does getting a dental implant hurt?

Not at all! The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic, so the area is completely numb and you won't feel pain during treatment. Most patients report that recovery is much milder than having a tooth extracted, and can easily be managed with mild over-the-counter painkillers for a day or two.

Are you still only relying on standard dental floss?

While floss is great for tight contacts, interdental brushes are often far more effective at cleaning the small gaps between your teeth where your toothbrush can't reach. Using the right size brush daily removes up to 40% more plaque than brushing alone!

Ask our hygiene team which size is right for your smile at your next visit.
