The Places You’ll Go 🤍
Three and a half years ago, we took a huge leap.
Ro was the dentist. I was a teacher who wasn’t sure I wanted to return to the classroom.
Then he asked, “What if we bought a dental practice?”
So we started looking.
In February 2023, after a year of CQC, solicitors, finance and endless paperwork, we finally got the keys to Mexborough Dental Surgery. 🔑
Roman was just nine months old, and we had absolutely no idea what we were doing.
Ro learnt the clinical side. I learnt the business side. Together, we worked, learnt, renovated, rebranded and slowly put our own stamp on the practice.
We expanded our private dentistry, introduced new treatments, made our membership plan more affordable and invested in creating something we were proud of.
Last year, we became finalists for the Private Dentistry Awards. To see our little practice in Mexborough recognised alongside some of the best in dentistry was surreal.
And now, that tiny baby who came to dental shows and grew up around the practice starts big school today. 🥹
Somewhere along the way, he became a big brother too.
We’ve come such a long way from those first uncertain days, and we couldn’t have done it without our patients.
