Sometimes, a beautiful smile transformation is rarely about one treatment alone.

This smile was created by using a combination of Invisalign, whitening, and composite bonding.

First, Invisalign was used to align the teeth into their ideal positions. Once the foundations were in place, whitening brightened the smile and created the perfect canvas. Finally, composite bonding was used to refine the shape, proportions and symmetry of the teeth.

We call this the ABC approach:

B. Bleach
C. Composite/Ceramic

By addressing the position of the teeth first, we can often achieve a more natural and conservative result while preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible.

A complex case carefully restored by ✨

This lovely patient came in concerned about severe crowding and the length of her central incisors, alongside having issues with a crossbite, which she previously addressed with orthodontics but then relapsed.

She also had a missing upper left canine and missing lower central incisor, which I needed to consider within the overall plan.

Treatment plan:
• Invisalign to realign the teeth and correct the anterior crossbite (patient was VERY compliant with aligners, which was very important to its success)
• Whitening to brighten and even out the overall tone
• Composite bonding to the upper 6 teeth to improve shape of central incisors and reshape upper premolar into the missing canine

The final result is a beautiful smile in both function and aesthetics, but most importantly, one very happy patient!

This smile transformation by started with orthodontic alignment to create the ideal foundation before using composite bonding to refine the details.

By carefully adjusting the shape, size, and colour of the teeth, we were able to create a more balanced, uniform smile while subtly increasing tooth length for a fresher, more youthful appearance.
