When Philippa trusted The Bespoke Smile Method, she was after more than new teeth. She wanted the confidence to step forward.

Another dentist told Lydia Millen she needed four teeth out, a brace with elastic bands and two years to get there. She came to us instead and seven months later Dr Lydia Sharples had done it without removing a single one.

She wasn’t doing it only for the look either. There was a gap on one side and her teeth were meeting badly enough to be damaging each other, so in her own words it did need doing.

All she asked for was her teeth but better, with the character left in them, which in the end took Invisalign, a little composite bonding and some whitening.

She calls herself a sensitive patient and says Dr Lydia was gentle and patient the whole way through, which mattered to her just as much as the result did. You can hear it at the end when she says it’s a lovely smile but it’s my smile.

When she shared it her followers kept telling her the same thing, which is why we wanted to highlight just a few of the many lovely reactions to her new smile.

A younger-looking smile, without trying to look younger ✨

Over time, our smiles naturally change. Teeth can become darker, more worn, shorter and less even, all of which can subtly age the overall appearance of the face.

For this patient, Dr Lydia Sharples used porcelain veneers and The Bespoke Smile Method to restore the proportions, brightness and natural character of the smile.

Our approach is facially driven, meaning we don’t design teeth in isolation. We consider the face, lips, smile line and individual features to create a result that feels harmonious and belongs to the patient.

The result? A brighter, fresher smile that subtly lifts the whole face, while still looking completely natural.

A smile that still looks like you, just the very best version of it ✨

A beautiful, comprehensive case by .rahulkalia, where every stage was carefully planned to work towards the final result.

We started with Invisalign to align the teeth and create the right foundations, followed by whitening to brighten the natural tooth colour.

Then came The Bespoke Smile Method.

Using facially driven treatment planning, the smile was designed around the patient’s individual features, proportions and facial harmony, rather than simply designing a set of “perfect” teeth.

Before committing to the final porcelain, we created a handmade Trial Smile using , allowing the patient to test-drive their new smile, live with it for a little while and make sure the shape, length and overall feel were just right.

Only once we were completely happy did we move on to fitting the final porcelain veneers.

The result? Natural, balanced and completely individual. A smile that doesn’t look “done”, it simply looks like it belongs. 🤍

Sometimes, improving an already good smile is the greatest challenge .samjethwa

This patient had naturally smaller teeth with spacing through the front and sides of her smile. She had been considering treatment carefully for a few years before deciding on 10 to refine the proportions, close the spaces and create a more balanced smile.

When the starting point is healthy, attractive teeth, every detail matters. The aim isn’t to completely change the smile, but to enhance what is already there while keeping the result natural and harmonious.

Using , the smile was facially driven and designed around her individual features, first through a handmade Trial Smile and then carefully replicated in hand-crafted ceramic by our own laboratory.

Why do veneers sometimes still require a small amount of tooth preparation? 🦷

At Bespoke Smile, minimally invasive dentistry is at the heart of what we do. Our aim is always to preserve as much healthy natural tooth structure as possible.

But minimally invasive doesn’t necessarily mean no preparation at all.

In some cases, a very small and carefully planned amount of tooth preparation can be important for achieving the best result. Preparing too little can compromise how the veneer fits and bonds to the tooth, or result in veneers that look and feel too bulky.

It’s all about balance.

Being conservative is incredibly important in cosmetic dentistry, but sometimes doing too little can actually work against the result you’re trying to achieve.

With our Feather Veneers®, every tooth is assessed individually. The goal is to remove only what is necessary, and nothing more, while creating enough space for a natural, refined and long-lasting result.

A subtle smile refinement by ✨

This patient already had two older veneers on her peg laterals but was unhappy with their shape and colour. She also had a central incisor that sat slightly forward and wanted to improve the overall balance of her smile without undergoing orthodontic treatment.

Using our minimally invasive Feather Veneers® approach, the focus was on refining what was already there rather than creating a completely different smile.

Treatment included:
• Replacing the 2 existing lateral veneers with porcelain Feather Veneers®
• 2 additional Feather Veneers® on the central incisors to improve shape and alignment
• Composite bonding to the left canine to balance its length with the right and improve the bite

The result is intentionally subtle. A softer, more balanced and harmonious version of her natural smile, with porcelain chosen for its beauty and longevity ✨
