We are delighted to introduce Dr Shivi Katre, the daughter of our Principal Dentist, Dr Prasad, who is joining the team at First Dental Care.

For Dr Prasad, having her daughter join the practice is a particularly special moment, and for us, it is wonderful to welcome the next generation of the family while continuing the same values of care, trust and high clinical standards that have always been at the heart of our practice.

Dr Katre graduated with Honours in Dentistry from King's College London, having previously studied Biomedical Sciences at Newcastle University. During her Foundation Dental training, she won the Foundation Dentist Case Presentation competition, competing against approximately 200 students. She provides all aspects of general dentistry, as well as clear aligners and composite bonding.

She is dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centred care, combining a gentle manner with meticulous attention to detail. Her aim is to make every patient feel comfortable, listened to and confident in their care.

Outside dentistry, Dr Katre is a new mum to her daughter, Maya, and enjoys long walks with her golden retriever.

Dr Katre will initially be joining us on Mondays and Wednesdays, bringing additional expertise and treatment options to our patients.

We would also like to reassure you that Dr Prasad remains our Principal Dentist and will continue to oversee the practice and its clinical standards. Dr Katre's arrival is an addition to our team and an exciting opportunity to build on the care we already provide.

We hope you will have the opportunity to meet Dr Katre soon, and we are very pleased to welcome her to the First Dental Care family.

Warm regards,
First Dental Care
