💐 After 15 amazing years, it’s time to say goodbye to our lovely Gemma! 💐

Today we’re saying a very sad goodbye to Gemma, who has been a huge part of DCO for the past 15 years. ❤️

Over the years, Gemma has been so much more than just a colleague. She’s been a friendly face to our patients, a constant support to the team and, most importantly, a genuine friend to so many of us. There have been countless laughs, chats and memories along the way, and DCO – especially the Hub – really won’t be the same without our Gem! 🥹

Although we’re incredibly sad to see her go, we couldn’t be happier for her as she takes the next step in her career and starts her new role as a Practice Manager. We know she is going to absolutely smash it, and her new team are very lucky to have her! 🌟

Thank you for everything you’ve given to DCO over the last 15 years, Gemma. You’ll be missed more than you know, but we’re all so excited to see what this next chapter brings for you.

Good luck Gem — don’t be a stranger! 🥂❤️

Love from all your DCO family ###

SHE DID IT! 🏃🏼‍♀️🏅❤️

A HUGE well done to our amazing Head Nurse Liv, who completed the Manchester Half Marathon yesterday in an incredible 2 hours 3 minutes! 👏🏼🎉

Liv took on the challenge in support of Cancer Research UK, a charity that means so much to so many of us, and we couldn’t be prouder of her. ❤️

Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored Liv and supported her along the way — every donation really does make a difference.

What an achievement, Liv! The whole DCO team is so proud of you! 🥰🏃🏼‍♀️🏅

It starts with a hello 💚🩵

We know visiting the dentist can feel very different for everyone. For some it’s routine, for others it can come with a few nerves, which is why we want you to feel at ease from the moment you walk through our doors.

From our reception teams to our nurses, dentists and clinicians, we’re here to make your visit feel as comfortable and reassuring as possible. 🦷✨

When someone asks who’s really the boss in the surgery… 👀🦷

Dentist: “Obviously me.”
Dental nurse: 👀😂

We all know who actually keeps the surgery running! 💚🩵

Sometimes the best dentistry is the dentistry you don’t notice. 🦷✨

This patient had a missing tooth restored with a dental implant by Dr Simon Cove, helping to fill the gap and restore both function and appearance.

The aim wasn’t to change the patient’s smile — it was to create a restoration that blends naturally with their existing teeth. And that’s exactly what we love about this result. 💙💚

If you have a missing tooth and would like to explore whether a dental implant could be an option for you, get in touch with the DCO team to find out more.
