Our Advanced Certificate in Full Mouth Oral Implant Rehabilitation Course brought together clinicians for an intensive and clinically focused learning experience at ICE. 🦷

Delegates explored the complete full arch workflow, from patient assessment and case selection to treatment planning, surgical considerations, restorative protocols and the management of complex implant cases.

The course encouraged practical discussion, clinical decision-making and the exchange of real-world experience, helping delegates build greater confidence when approaching full arch rehabilitation.

We are delighted to congratulate Professor Cemal Ucer, Professor Simon Wright, Dr Rabia Khan and Sushil Kumar on the publication of their latest peer-reviewed article in the Dentistry Journal (MDPI).

"Local Anaesthetic Systemic Toxicity in Dental and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery: Safe Dosing, Combination Agents, and Emergency Management—A Narrative Review."

The publication provides an important review of Local Anaesthetic Systemic Toxicity (LAST), offering practical guidance on safe dosing, the use of combination local anaesthetic agents, recognising early signs of toxicity, and emergency management during dental and oral surgical procedures. It also highlights key considerations for extended implant and oral surgery cases, where careful dose planning is essential.

This publication reflects ICE's continued commitment to advancing evidence-based dentistry, improving patient safety, and contributing to the global dental literature.

An exceptional week of advanced surgical training for our Advanced Certificate in Bone and Tissue Regeneration & Sinus Grafting delegates.

Last week, our delegates travelled to Coventry for the programme’s cadaveric training sessions, providing a unique opportunity to further develop their understanding of sinus augmentation and advanced regenerative procedures in an immersive learning environment.

Cadaveric training plays an important role in enhancing anatomical knowledge, refining surgical techniques, and building confidence when managing complex implant cases.
