Pinfold Dental Practice We are a mixed NHS/Private Dental practice situated in the centre of Hattersley, just off junction 4 Call into the practice today!

At the practice we aim to provide you with quality dental care, under caring and friendly conditions for you and your family and to make your visits to us a more pleasant experience. Expect a warm welcome at reception and a calm and relaxing atmosphere. We offer NHS treatment as well as a comprehensive range of private treatments.

After 30 years of dedicated service, we want to announce that Ian Hughes will be retiring from the practice in the very near future. We hope you will join us in showing our appreciation for Ian’s dedication and hard work over the years. It is a bittersweet moment saying goodbye to Ian but we’re sure you will agree he has earned a well deserved retirement to concentrate on the many projects he has planned. 😢

Longstanding family dental practice.

R4 Clinical+ software

Fully computerised

Digital radiography

2 dentists and Dental Therapist and a full support team.

This role would suit a qualified dental nurse with experience, who has excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team and also to lead by example. Candidate will have high standards and show attention to detail. Be able to show high levels of responsibility.

Salary based upon qualifications and experience.

Candidates must be registered with the GDC.

Immunisation status up to date.

DBS check essential.

References required.

UPDATE RE’ NEW PATIENTS
We have taken a further 30+ new patients this morning. Our capacity is now full for this month.
The demand for joining our practice is huge but as you are aware we only have a limited number of spaces available each month. This ensures we can continue to provide a service level to our existing patients for routine and emergency treatment.

We received a huge number of calls this morning and our staff were continually taking calls from 8:45am. We understand your frustration if you were unsuccessful in joining the practice today but we will not tolerate foul or abusive language from callers.

For your information we will be accepting an additional number of new patients from 1st September.

*****UPDATE RE NEW PATIENTS *****
We have this morning accepted an additional 30 new NHS patients.
Our capacity for new patients is now full for this month.
We will accept a further 30 new NHS patients on the 1st August.
We appreciate there is a huge demand from new patients but we can only accept a limited number to be able to continue to provide our service to our existing patients including those existing patients in need of emergency dental treatment.
If you have been unsuccessful if attempting to join our practice today please be aware there are other practices in the area also accepting new NHS patients. You can find details of these practices on www.nhs.uk under the 'Find a Dentist' link.
If you are in need of emergency dental services and do not have access to an NHS Dentist you can call the Urgent Dental Care Team on tel: 0333 332 3800 for further advice.

UPDATE********
Please note we have been inundated with phone calls from people wanting to become a new patient with the practice. After careful consideration we have now accepted such a huge number of new patients which has subsequently filled our diaries for the next 4 weeks. Therefore any new enquiries from new patients we ask that you now wait and contact us as from Mon 3rd July when we are able to offer new availability. This is simply to ensure we can continue to meet the demands from new and existing patients.

As of today 01.06.23 we are accepting new NHS patients.
Please note this is a managed service where we will add your information to a waiting list and offer appointments based upon our measured availability. Please note we already have a significant number of existing patients we provide our services to. Therefore we will carefully manage how many new patients we can take on a monthly basis to ensure we are able to meet the demand of all existing and new patients. Please can we ask for your patience and understanding when telephoning the practice as we are extremely busy. Dental support can be accessed via the Greater Manchester dental helpline (0333 332 3800), which is available from 8am to 10pm every day, including weekends and bank holidays for those who need help urgently when their practice is closed, or do not have a regular dentist.

If you need help with an urgent dental problem outside of our opening hours please call our Urgent Dental care Service on tel: 0333 332 3800, available from 8am to 10pm every day including weekends and bank holidays.

Please note the above number should NOT be used by patients who have a regular dentist during normal surgery hours.

This is an appointment only service - the Urgent Dental Care providers do not operate a drop-in service at any Greater Manchester locations.

Each one off urgent dental care appointment is a fixed NHS patient charge of band 1, which is currently £23.80. This fee shall be paid each time you access Urgent Dental Care Services.
