Breaking News 🚨🍫

A truck carrying thousands of Kit Kats has reportedly been stolen.

Police say the main suspects are… the team at Sherwood House Dental Practice.

When questioned, the team released the following statement:

“We can neither confirm nor deny our involvement… but early reports suggest thousands of children’s teeth are now significantly safer.”

Investigators say the crime scene was unusual:

No fingerprints

No tyre marks

Just a note that read:
“Have a break… from sugar.”

Authorities also reported several suspicious items nearby: 🪥 Toothbrushes
🦷 Dental floss
📋 A treatment plan titled “Emergency Caries Prevention Programme”

Police are continuing their investigation, although one officer commented:

“To be honest… if this keeps cavities down, we might just let this one slide.” 😄

As we welcome 2026, all of us at Sherwood House Dental Practice would like to wish our patients and the wider Loughborough community a very happy, healthy New Year.

Over the years, it has been a real privilege to care for so many of you — supporting patients through routine check-ups, difficult moments, dental anxiety, and everything in between. Your trust means a great deal to us, and we are genuinely grateful to be part of your lives and your health journey.

Each year brings its own challenges, and dentistry — particularly NHS dentistry — has not been without its pressures. Through it all, we have always endeavoured to keep our NHS service alive and accessible, while continuing to provide care that is compassionate, respectful, and patient-centred.

🌺 Remembrance Sunday 🌺

Today, we pause to remember all those who gave their lives in service — people from every background, faith, and corner of the world who stood together to protect our freedom when we faced a common enemy.

In times of need, we do not look at who stands beside us — whether it’s a Filipino nurse, an African carer, or an Indian doctor — we simply recognise those who serve with courage, compassion, and humanity.

At Sherwood House Dental Practice, we are proud to reflect that same spirit within our team. We celebrate diversity and offer the same care, empathy, and respect to everyone who walks through our doors.

Serve is the important word here — to serve with kindness, to serve with equality, and to serve with heart.

The marigold alongside the poppy is a beautiful reminder of the brave Indian soldiers who fought and sacrificed in both World Wars — a symbol of unity, courage, and remembrance.
