Dental care, far from home.

One of our dentists, Jen, recently travelled to Nepal with Project Yeti, volunteering her time to provide dental care and education to children, monks and nuns in monasteries and nunneries.

For Jen, it was a chance to step outside the practice and use her skills in a completely different setting — meeting people, learning from a different community and helping to make dental care more accessible.

We’re incredibly proud of her for taking on such a meaningful experience and representing Carriage Works Dental along the way. 🫶🏼

Sometimes, the biggest change isn’t just what you see in the mirror. It’s what you feel able to do again. 🤍

Before treatment, this patient told us she had found herself not wanting to leave the house. She would cover her mouth in photographs, rarely smile and felt so insecure about her teeth that it even brought her to tears.

After completing her upper arch All-on-4 treatment, the difference has been about so much more than her smile.

She now can’t stop smiling. She’s planning holidays, looking forward to events and saying yes to things she once avoided because of how self-conscious she felt.

A new smile — and a new sense of freedom to actually enjoy life.

We’re so pleased to have been part of her journey so far. 🦷✨

🎒 Back to school = back to packed lunches!

Putting together a lunchbox doesn’t have to be complicated. A good mix of fruit and veg, something filling, a dairy option and water makes a great starting point. 🍎🥪💧

And yes, there’s room for a little treat too! It’s more about how often sugary foods and drinks are consumed than cutting them out completely.

Swipe through for some simple lunchbox ideas to help keep little smiles healthy this school year. 🦷✨
