A moderate MIH Syndrome case affecting a young patient.
Parents were concerned about other children making comments about their daughter’s upper central incisors.
I personally prefer to postpone treatment until a young adult age and combine an initial bleaching treatment followed by INFILTRATIVE RESIN TREATMENT with ICON.
In this case parents were concerned about their daughter’s emotional wellbeing, which is so important, so we decided to treat both central incisors at this point.
Adjacent and opposing teeth affected by MIH will also need treatment once their full clinical crowns have fully erupted.
A minimally invasive approach with an immediate confidence boost 🫶🏽

Not an easy task to integrate composite restorations seamlessly into an environment with former ceramic restorations (2 former ceramic crowns present on 12 and 22) 🙌🏼
