Hey Guys!
Hope you’re very well and had a lovely Easter holiday!
It came to my attention that there’s a rumour going around that I’m using a fresh graduate to deliver my LDS 3 courses!
Not sure who spread this rumour but I believe it’s with the sole purpose of undermining the quality of my courses so I felt a clarification is needed.
My LDS 3 course is divided into 2 sections
Section 1 - video demos that cover manikin exercises and skilled Osces. These are delivered by a very experienced tutor called Dr. Larissa who is a specialist from Brazil, has her own practice and was already delivering manikin demos for an education center in London for many years. Larissa has attended my courses and finished her LDS successfully in her first attempt with only few weeks to prep for part 3 and she passed with flying colours. So indeed she passed LDS last year but she has years of clinical and teaching experience hence why I have asked her to help me with the videos as she has the skills and the equipment to do so.
Those who know me - know very well that I never compromise on the quality of the teaching and if there’s any negative feedback we take it very seriously and act on it immediately. All the content is constantly under review and it upgrades regularly.
Section 2 - hands on training
I have built a lab for dental skills training and I deliver the hands on courses myself there. We kept the maximum number to be 5 per course although I have the facility, space and equipment to triple that number - but I kept the numbers small so I am able to teach everyone myself and to give individual attention to each and everyone of you.
I have been teaching manikin for many many years with RCS at Queen Mary (your exam venue) and many of the current famous course providers were once my students.
I have worked alongside the head of the manikin exam (Prof Sam) for many many years, let alone my own clinical experience of 26 years.
In short - when I run a course I know what I’m doing and I DO NOT EVER COMPROMISE on quality. My 100% succes rate and my students feedback is the clear evidence for that.
Hope this now clarifies the situation.
I wish you all the very best of luck.
Dr Nancy Girgis
