The Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD) is the dental charity dedicated to the advancement of knowledge in pain and anxiety control for dentistry. SAAD is at the forefront of postgraduate teaching of sedation techniques in dentistry, offering:

Scientific seminars
Expert advice to other bodies including the GDC and DoH
Experts for guidel

Individual support and advice to members. Membership of the society is open to any registered medical or dental practitioner, dental nurse or dental therapist.
