THE WAY TO START 2024 😍

This is one of my favourite smile transformations!

This lovely patient had her teeth straightened over several months with brace.

After that they were whitened over 3 weeks with whitening system.

And finally…. The 🍒 on the top was the composite bonding to improve symmetry and overall appearance.

THE STORY BEHIND THIS LOVELY SMILE 👉🏻

This young gentleman had braces with a remaining gap between his upper central teeth.

This was closed by badly done composite bonding, resulting in staining and unnatural appearance - see the second photo.

Third photo shows how big the gap actually was - after remove the old composite bonding.

To close bigger gaps with composite bonding is a very challenging procedure.

The dentist needs to choose a correct shade of the restoration, shape it well and in a way that it doesn’t irritate the gum in that area.
