To our Twickenham Dental Care Community,
We are rounding your week off with some great news...WE ARE BACK from Monday, 8th June!
Its been a long road for all of us but we hope that you have all managed to keep safe and well.
As you can imagine, some things are still a bit different and that’s a good thing because additional procedures are in place to keep our patients, our staff and our families safe.
Here are a few points so you know how we have made Twickenham Dental Care safer for our community:
• When you make an appointment we will ask you some questions to make sure you are healthy to visit us. This includes making sure you don't have any respiratory concerns (cough, sore throat, cold like symptoms), haven’t travelled on a plane or cruise recently and that you haven’t been in contact with someone who has either been tested for COVID-19 (awaiting results) or who has tested positive. If this is you then you will need to delay your dental treatment.
• On arrival please clean your hands with alcohol based hand rub and practice good hygiene etiquette. One of our Staff will take your temperature with a contactless thermometer.
• We will ask all patients on entering to wear a face mask as this will help prevent any potential droplet spread. This will be worn from the front door to the surgery and can then be removed. It will then be put on after treatment is complete until you exit the premises. If you don’t have your own face mask we can provide one for you.
• If you arrive by car we would avise you to stay in you car until we are ready for you and will call you on your phone to come in. You can call the practice on 02087441944 to tell us you have arrived.
• We are following physical distancing practices. The chairs are further apart in our waiting room, we have scheduled appointments to minimise the need to wait and we have installed a clear screen at the reception desk.
• To help us follow social distancing please come to your appointment on your own or only bringing children who have a dental appointment. Please arrange care for your children who do not have a dental appointment whenever possible.
• We will give you a special mouthwash to use before we begin your dental treatment.
• We may look a little different. We are sporting fashionable hats and at times may need to wear a gown.
Regular examinations and hygiene appointments is essential for maintaining the health of your teeth and gums, enables us to detect problems when they are small and has a positive influence on your general health too.
And let's not forget how amazing it feels after your teeth have been cleaned and are stain-free! We want to assure you that it is safe to get back into the routine of caring for your oral health and we cannot wait to see you.
One of our staff will try to contact you soon if you had a scheduled appointment that was cancelled.
If we've missed you or to schedule an appointment please call us on 020 8744 1944 or email [email protected].
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Michael and the team at Twickenham Dental Care
