-P envelope flap
-Resorptive tissue removed & lesion cleaned including around canal (minimal marginal bone removal required to obtain clean margins)
-Coltosol placed over canal (temporary)
-Composite repair
-Flap closed
-RCT
-Composite core

CBCT training with the new Vatech GreenX we got installed at .dental (Reading)
Thanks John .uk (and Skeleton Stella) for our awesome training.
It can take 4X4, 5x5, 8x5, 8x8, 12x9, 16x9, and interestingly a smart focus 12x9 scan which gives you an additional OPG and 3 4x4cm scans of your choice for no addition dose - Exactly what you need for multidisciplinary care.
The practice will be accepting external referrals for CBCT scans if any one is interested.

STEP-BY-STEP ECR REPAIR
Incidental finding of a large palatal ECR lesion close to the pulp.
The patient was asymptomatic and responded positively to sensibility testing, so we aimed to preserve the pulp ❤️

Treatment steps:
* Palatal envelope flap
* ECR lesion curettage
* SHP to clear the lesion
* NaOCl with a microbrush
* Haemostasis using adrenaline, gauze and Teflon
* Biodentine placed over the pulp
* Composite SDR placed over the Biodentine — overbuilt, trimmed back and finished smoothly
* Sutures placed

At review, the patient remained asymptomatic and continued to respond positively to sensibility testing 🙌
