Fascinating research

This weekend I completed my accreditation in Disclusion Time Reduction therapy in Las Vegas for the treatment of muscle tension caused by the back teeth remaining in contact for too long when grinding the teeth. We use digital technology to identify the parts of the teeth hitting too hard and for too long. Some minor adjustments to the affected parts of the teeth allows the muscles to relax and thereby reduce head and neck pain. My thanks to Dr Robert Kerstein who has been training me the last 2 years. , Time Reduction, Prevention,

A few months ago I gave a lecture and demonstration to my ITI Study Group on T-Scan digital occlusion technology. Since then I have been trained by Dr Robert Kerstein in DTR - Disclusion Time Reduction which uses the T -Scan along with Electromyography (EMG) to treat muscle pain, and head and neck ache caused by clenching and grinding the teeth. Following computer directed adjustments to the parts of the back teeth identified as causing the muscle hyperactivity we can reduce or eliminate the pain and even obviate the need to wear a night guard. As of August 2024 there are only 7 dentists trained in this protocol in the UK spread out over the south of England. If you are looking for DTR treatment my practice is the only one in North London/Hertfordshire offering this treatment. www.blissdental.co.uk

Subtle but effective composite bonding and composite veneers. Composite veneers placed on the in standing lateral incisors and bonding on the canines to eliminate black triangles. The patient was very happy.

This is a case using Edelweiss veneers. Due to the varying sizes Edelweiss customised the veneers to fit in their lab in Austria.
