What a wonderful day at this year’s Fair in the Square.

It was lovely to see so many familiar faces and to be part of such a lively local community event.

This year’s turnout was incredible, with so many residents, families and local businesses coming together in Pond Square.

A big thank you to the organisers for creating such a welcoming and well-run event.

A gummy smile is not always just about the gums.

This patient was unhappy with excessive gingival display and uneven tooth proportions in the upper front teeth.

Crown lengthening — sometimes called a gum lift — was used to harmonise the gum levels and improve the visible crown height.

New restorations were then placed to refine shape, symmetry, and overall smile balance.

What makes you smile?

We’re inviting children in our community to get creative and show us what happiness looks like through art.

Our children’s drawing competition is now open, with the theme “What Makes You Smile?”
Family, friends, pets, hobbies, holidays, or ice cream on a sunny day — we’d love to see what brings children joy.

To enter, please submit an original A4 drawing to Pond Square Dental by Monday 30 June.
Please include the child’s name and age, plus parent or guardian contact details.
Open to children under 18. One entry per child. Every entrant will receive a toothbrush, and one lucky winner will receive a special prize.

We can’t wait to display the wonderful artwork.
