Tips On Bonding Lingual Fixed Retainers
* Practice taking the retainer on and off the model, then:
* Try the retainer on patient teeth to ensure it sits passively.
* For upper retainers, check the occlusion with the lower incisors.
* Pumice, rinse and dry the Lingual/palatal surfaces of the teeth.
* Roughen the palatal/Lingual surfaces with a bur or sandblast.
* Etch and seal the areas to be bonded.
* Keep the bonded areas dry – moisture control is CRUCIAL!
* Using the jig, place the retainer on the teeth.
* Apply adequate amount of composite and light cure.
* Cut away the jig and smooth the edges of the wire.
* Instruct patient how to clean.

What is the process?
The clinician loads CT scans onto the cloud based software free of charge as per our T&Cs'
The clinician loads intraoral scans or sends impressions for us to scan
We will then superimpose the CT scan with the model
Clinicians plan implant position (full control)
We design and print the implant drill guide according to plan.
