Check out this recent case of mine! Anthony came to see me with severe tooth wear caused by grinding and consuming acidic foods. We carefully planned his case, starting with a trial smile to test the bite and help him adjust to the new changes.

This patient came to see me feeling unhappy with the alignment, colour, and shape of her teeth. We started her journey with a course of Invisalign to straighten her teeth and correct her bite. Once aligned, we whitened her teeth to brighten their overall shade, and finally, we completed her transformation with composite bonding to enhance the edges and perfect her smile.
She was absolutely overjoyed with the result and couldn’t believe the smile in the mirror was hers!

Karen was poorly as a child and was therefore given antibiotics (𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘱 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 '𝘛𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘺𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴'). 💊⁣⁣ Unfortunately, taking these tablets when her teeth were developing caused severe staining to her teeth. 😢⁣⁣

Luckily with research, times have changed and now these type of antibiotics wouldn't be prescribed to children under the age of 12 🚸⁣⁣

At 18 years of age, Karen had porcelain veneers placed to disguise her stained teeth. Although the improvement was completely life changing for her, this method did involve some drilling of her natural teeth. Nowadays, we may consider whitening and minimally invasive 'no preparation' veneers as a first option if the case is suitable. ⁣⁣

Karen had chipped her veneers over time and so we went ahead and changed the veneers after some whitening. Her daughter's wedding was fast approaching so the pressure was on! 💒⁣⁣

Shawn came to me feeling dissatisfied with his smile. He had spacing between his teeth and an old bridge that had eventually failed, leaving him feeling very self-conscious. He had tried to wear a denture in the past, but just couldn’t get on with anything removable. After an initial consultation to really understand what Sean wanted; followed by a visit to plan, analyse scans and discuss in detail his options, we made a definitive plan of placing veneers and a bridge to get him his smile back.
