Most people think cosmetic dentistry is about perfectly smooth, flat white teeth.
It isn’t.
Natural teeth are three-dimensional.
They contain subtle secondary anatomy and texture that allows light to reflect naturally.
When this detail is missing, teeth can often look flat or artificial.
This is why I when carrying out a smile makeover I add secondary grooves and surface texture. This allows the teeth to catch light in the same way natural enamel does.
It’s these subtle refinements that make a smile look real, balanced and very natural. This level of detail is what I believe takes composite bonding to another level.
