🤩🥰 Today we celebrated a very special birthday with our wonderful Dr Ansar! 🎉🎂🦷

As our second longest-serving dentist, just behind Dr Aneta, Ansar has been part of the Charming Smiles family for so many years that we simply can't imagine the practice without him! ❤️

Since graduating from the University of Sheffield in 2007, Ansar has gained a wealth of experience, particularly in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Always keen to perfect his skills, he has completed numerous postgraduate courses, including a year-long programme in Contemporary Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry at the prestigious Dominic Hassall Training Institute. 🎓✨ His attention to detail and talent for creating beautiful, natural-looking smiles are just some of the reasons his patients trust him.

But his other superpower? Calmness, precision and incredible efficiency! He can diagnose a problem, find a solution and reassure a patient while the rest of us are still trying to finish our morning coffee! ☕😂

His friendly approach, professionalism and genuine care have earned him the trust of so many patients over the years. And we're incredibly lucky to have him on our team! 🩵🫶

Outside dentistry, Ansar enjoys sports, fitness and spending time with his young family — although we suspect keeping up with the little ones is a tougher workout than anything the gym has to offer! 🏃‍♂️😂

🦷❤️ A Special NHS Visit to Charming Smiles! 🦷❤️

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming senior NHS representatives to Charming Smiles. We were the only dental practice in our local area chosen for the visit, which made it extra special!

We admit, there were a few nerves beforehand! 😅 But everything went wonderfully, with warm, friendly discussions and a very positive outcome for everyone.

A huge thank you to our amazing team for their hard work and fantastic preparation. You made us so proud! ❤️👏

And a sincere thank you to our NHS visitors for taking the time to meet us, listen and share their thoughts.

A lovely reminder that good communication and teamwork really do make a difference! 🥰

🤩🥰 Today we celebrated a very special birthday with our wonderful Dr Anita — and this one feels extra special because we also get to say a huge WELCOME BACK! 🎉🎂❤️
After maternity leave and welcoming her gorgeous little one into the world, Anita is back at Charming Smiles — and we couldn’t be happier to have her with us again! 🍼🥰
Anita has always been a bit of an academic star. 🌟 She graduated with honours from the University of Birmingham, achieving the highest exam results in her year, before qualifying as a dentist at UCLan and completing a Master’s in Public Health. Basically, while the rest of us were deciding what to have for dinner, Anita was collecting qualifications! 😂🎓
She completed her Foundation Dental Training here in Derby. Her experience includes Restorative Dentistry, Special Care Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery, but one of her greatest talents is making even the most nervous patients feel calm, safe and completely looked after. 🦷🩵
And then there’s Anita’s legendary efficiency! She is genuinely one of the most organised dentists we know. Anita doesn’t just have a plan — we’re fairly sure she has a plan for the plan! 😁 Somehow, she gets through the busiest clinical day while the rest of us are still wondering where the morning went. 😂
Outside dentistry, Anita loves good food, family time, friends and football. ⚽🍽️ And now, of course, she has her most important role yet — being Mum. ❤️ We suspect even the baby already has a very well-organised schedule! 😉😂
Anita, we’re so happy to have you back in our Charming Smiles family. We wish you lots of happiness, good health, laughter, delicious food, football victories and beautiful moments with your little one… and perhaps occasionally a day when absolutely nothing is scheduled! 😉🥂

🇵🇱🇬🇧❤️ Thank you for such a wonderful Sunday in Nottingham! ❤️🇵🇱🇬🇧

A huge thank you to the Polish Parish of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Nottingham for inviting us to take part in the Parish Family Festival. We were absolutely delighted to be part of such a lovely day! 🥰

A very special thank you to Fr Krzysztof Kawczyński, the Parish Priest, for the invitation, the incredibly warm welcome and for organising such a fantastic event. ❤️

We would also like to thank all the organisers, volunteers and everyone who helped behind the scenes. Events like this take an enormous amount of time and effort to put together — and it certainly showed. You did an amazing job! 👏👏👏

It was also a pleasure to meet all the other exhibitors and spend the day alongside you. It was wonderful to see just how much is happening within our Polish community here in the UK. 🇵🇱🇬🇧

And most importantly, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by the Charming Smiles stand! ❤️🦷 Thank you for your time, your interest, all your questions, conversations, smiles and laughs. It was genuinely lovely to meet so many of you.

We hope to see some familiar faces again — perhaps next time at Charming Smiles. 😁 We will be more than happy to continue the conversations we started, answer any questions you may still have and, most importantly, help those of you who spoke to us about something specific. We haven't forgotten about you! ❤️

And the food… well, that deserves a special mention of its own! 😂👏

🤩🥰 Today we celebrated a very special birthday with our wonderful Dr Liza — one of our favourite smiles behind the mask! 🎉🎂🦷
Young, talented, calm… and somehow still smiling after spending her days surrounded by teeth, dental drills and the rest of us! 😂❤️
After graduating from the University of Sheffield, Liza received the Practitioners Club Prize for her exceptional care and conduct towards patients. 🏆 And anyone who has ever sat in her chair will understand exactly why!
Her real superpower is making people feel calm. You can arrive gripping the armrests and mentally planning your escape route… and five minutes later, Liza has you chatting and wondering what you were worried about! 😂🦷
She provides a full range of NHS and private dentistry, with a passion for prevention and minimally invasive treatment — because sometimes less really is more… especially when dental drills are involved! 😉
Outside Charming Smiles, Liza loves travelling, exploring and hiking. 🌍✈️🥾 And, of course, there are plenty of walks with her dog, who firmly believes walking is not a hobby but a full-time job! 🐶😂
Liza, thank you for your talent, kindness, professionalism, sense of humour and the genuine care you show to every patient. We are incredibly lucky to have you as part of our Charming Smiles family. 🩵🫶
