Sometimes the best smile transformations are the subtle ones.

This patient wasn’t looking for a bright white, completely different smile — she simply wanted things to look more balanced and natural.

She had an older crown that no longer blended seamlessly with the surrounding teeth, along with spacing around the front teeth. We replaced the crown with a more natural restoration and used minimal composite bonding on the lateral incisors to improve the proportions and gently close the gaps.

A small number of carefully planned changes, while keeping the character of her natural smile.

A big transformation, not just for the teeth but for the gums too.

This patient had composite veneers placed on Harley Street 3 years ago. Unfortunately, they had started to fail and were causing significant inflammation around the gums.

We removed the old composite veneers and replaced them with hand-layered E.max veneers, focusing on getting the shape, proportions and margins right while giving the gums a chance to heal.

The change in the gum health is probably ourfavourite part of this case.

A much healthier, more natural smile — and a great example of why getting the foundations right matters just as much as the final result.

White spot treatment and a composite bonding refresh

This patient was referred to us after a course of whitening that left their old composite bonding mismatched with their new whiter shade.

We removed the old composite bonding which had served them well for many years and replaced with a matched shade and improved shape to harmonise with the rest of the teeth.

Whilst we were here we also removed the white spot on the central incisor which the patient had been conscious of for a long time with a bit of ICON treatment.

ICON is a minimally invasive way of removing white spots- no injections and home in 30mins 💨

❌ Failing Composite Veneers ❌

This patient had composite veneers placed around 6 years ago. Although they initially worked really well, over time they began to stain, chip and lose their natural appearance. There was also some asymmetry between the central incisors, with one tooth appearing more prominent and the adjacent tooth slightly concave.

Using beautifully crafted ultra-thin eMax veneers, we were able to refresh and refine her smile while still keeping everything natural and in harmony with her existing teeth.
