A waiting room sets the tone for everything that follows.

Nothing dramatic here — some flowers, a pumpkin, and the good chairs. But if you're already anxious about being here, the first ninety seconds matter more than we'd like to admit.

So we'd rather ours felt calm than clinical.

Pop in and say hello. We're a friendly, family-run practice, and we do mean it.

"I speak as someone terrified of the dentist."

That's a real line from one of our Google reviews, and it comes up far more often than you'd think. Dental anxiety isn't unusual, and it isn't something to apologise for.

We take the time to listen. We explain what we're doing before we do it. And we stop when you need us to.

Many of our patients who once dreaded appointments now come in without a second thought. That's the part of the job we're proudest of.

Every instrument sterilised. Every surface draped. Every time.
Implant surgery here runs to operating-theatre standards, because implants fail for unglamorous reasons — contamination, rushing, shortcuts.

We'd rather be careful than quick. It isn't the fastest way to work. It is the way we'd want it done for ourselves.

The crown is the part you can see. The part that matters is underneath.

An implant replaces the root of the tooth, and that's what makes it different from a bridge or a denture. A root keeps the jawbone working. Bone that isn't being used quietly disappears, and that's what changes a face over time.

Saving your own tooth always comes first with us. When it can't be saved, this is the option that protects what's left.

Nervous about the dentist? You're in very good company.
Autumn's arrived at the practice 🍂

The seasonal touches aren't really about decoration. Most of the people who come through our door tell us some version of the same thing — that they've been putting it off, that dentists make them anxious, that it's been years since the last visit.

So we've built the sort of waiting room we'd want to sit in ourselves. Warm light, comfortable chairs, and nobody rushing you.

We take the time to listen. We explain things before we do them. And we stop whenever you need us to.

Whenever you're ready — there's no rush at this end.

This is what happens before you even sit down.

Every instrument sterilised and laid out. The surgical team gowned and gloved. A sterile field built around the chair — the same standard you'd find in any operating theatre.

It can look like a great deal of fuss for one small titanium post. That's rather the point.

Implants tend to fail for unglamorous reasons: contamination, rushing, corners cut. So we don't cut them.

Careful beats quick. Every time.

If you're weighing up an implant and you'd like to know exactly what you'd be walking into, come and ask us. We'll talk you through all of it.

An implant isn't a replacement tooth. It's a replacement root.
That difference matters more than most people realise. When a tooth comes out, the bone that held it in place slowly starts to shrink — quietly, over months and years. It's why long-standing gaps change the shape of a face, not just the shape of a smile.

A small titanium post placed into the jaw gives that bone something to hold onto again. The bone grows around it and holds it firm. The crown goes on top. Your bite works the way it used to.

We're preventive-first here, so we'd always look at saving your own tooth before anything else. When that isn't possible, this is what we'd talk to you about next.

If you've been living with a gap, a consultation is the place to start. It's free, and there's no obligation to go ahead.
